The following is the long-awaited information about the 2026 Convention and AGM at Temora.

The increased cost of fuel, or even its availability, caused the committee to revisit the original plan to improve flexibility and reduce costs. Hence, the delay.

The Program

Friday 22^nd May 2026

• Arrivals
• Friday dinner - BBQ with the Temora Flyers at the airport.

Saturday 23^rd May 2026

• Breakfast – Guardhouse café from 8am

• 10am -  Museum tour

• Lunch - Bus to Cootamundra to meet with the Nav Trial flyers for lunch.

• PM
  • Navigation trial,
  • More time at the museum, for those not flying or going to Coomtamundra
  • Simulator flights at the museum (participant's cost).
• Convention Dinner 
  • 6:30 - 7:00 PM
  • Temora Ex-services Memorial Club
  • Guest speaker - AVM Mark Skidmore

Sunday 24^th May 2026

• Breakfast – Guardhouse café from 8am
• 9:30 - Airtourer Association AGM - Temora Museum Lecture theatre.
• Lunch at the Airport
• PM
  •  Pilot Proficiency Program presentation.
  • Flying - taking members who were unable to fly in for a local flight.
  • Formation flying.
  • Bundawarrah Centre - Rural Museum
  • Early departures
• Dinner - Shamrock Hotel - Chinese Restaurant

The primary accommodation is the SkyLodge at the airport. Twelve rooms have been reserved for the association. When booking, please mention you are with the Airtourer Association.
