Who Are We

The Airtourer Association is a group of enthusiasts for the Australian designed Airtourer Aircraft. A related but separate organisation is the Airtourer Co-operative which owns the intellectual property of the Airtourer design and is responsible for ongoing airworthiness. The Airtourer Co-operative has the support of the Airtourer Association and is included in the web site. Please explore our site and share our enthusiasm for a great little aeroplane.

The Convention Dinner is the highlight of the weekend and this year being the 40th anniversary of the first convention was special.

The evening was opened by "The Three Spinners (and the two wheel chocks)" our very own choir, leading the members in the Airtourer Anthem to the tune of the Aeroplane Jelly song.
The prize for the "Best Presented Airtourer" went to Alan Wood for his Airtourer 160 VH-POB (Poor Old Bastard).
This year there was a special "Grand Champion" award based on a questionaire and a secret formula. Stan Tilley was the winner, helped greatly by his history of winnings in aeroclub and aerobatic competitions.
