Who Are We

The Airtourer Association is a group of enthusiasts for the Australian designed Airtourer Aircraft. A related but separate organisation is the Airtourer Co-operative which owns the intellectual property of the Airtourer design and is responsible for ongoing airworthiness. The Airtourer Co-operative has the support of the Airtourer Association and is included in the web site. Please explore our site and share our enthusiasm for a great little aeroplane.

Saturday's activities commenced with breakfast at "The Health Nut" restaruant before heading to the airport for a short flight to Goolgowi.

John Day provided a briefing on Goolgowi and how to get there and back with minimum impact on local Griffith traffic and each other. The Goolgowi airstrip is the main strip for Shire and while unsealed it was in good condition with ample length. The local Royal Mail Hotel provided an "airport shuttle service" for $5 to save us the long walk into the town. A typical country pub lunch ensured the takeoff weight more than made up for the fuel burned during the flight from Griffith.
